Sonam Kapoor, who is currently shooting for Veere Di Wedding, today joined cricketing stalwart Kapil Dev at a special event for Magic Bus Foundation. The foundation equips some of India’s poorest children and young people with the skills and knowledge to grow up and be successful.
Sonam Kapoor interacted at a length with the children at the event, organized at the District Sports Office Ground in Dharavi. Talking about her association with Magic Bus, Sonam Kapoor said, “I am very happy to lend my support to the wonderful work that Magic Bus does, especially since they endeavour to try and change the lives of children and youth who still face a difficult life. Such projects can help change the face of our country”.
In fact, Sonam was most happy to see that many children who benefited from the NGO’s initiatives have come back as volunteers and leaders to help pass on their wisdom and experience to the next generation.
On the work front, Sonam Kapoor will be next seen in Shashanka Ghosh’s Veere Di Wedding alongside Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania. The film is produced by Rhea Kapoor and Ekta Kapoor‘s Balaji Motion Pictures.
