Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar won audience and critics’ hearts back in 2015 with their performance in Dum Laga Ke Haisha. The film also happened to be Bhumi Pednekar’s debut in Bollywood. And later, we had reported that this on-screen pair, is all set to reunite for another film Shubh Mangal Saavdhan.

On Tuesday, Ayushmann shared the news that their team was all set to kick start the film in Delhi. He wrote, “Taking off to Delhi for a joyride called #ShubhMangalSaavdhan. Rolling tomorrow.” On Wednesday morning, producer Aanand L Rai too confirmed the same and shared a photo from the ‘mahurat’ ceremony and captioned it, “SHUBH HO Roll sound camera action #Shubhmangalsaavdhan shoot begins. God is kind.Congrats @rs_prasanna @ayushmannk @psbhumi @krishikalulla.”

His production house also shared a photo of the entire crew sitting for a puja together before they commenced shooting. “Shubh aarambh of #ShubhMangalSaavdhan ☺️ The jolly ride for the next project has begun & here's a sneak peek! @ayushmannk @psbhumi @ErosNow.” Also, it was seen that Ayushmann and Bhumi were dressed in simple attires on the first day of the film’s shoot.

Shubh Mangal Saavdhan will be directed by South film actor and director RS Prasanna. It is said to be inspired from the 2013 Tamil film Kalyana Samayal Sadham. Besides this film, Ayushmann Khurrana will be seen in Meri Pyaari Bindu this year whereas Bhumi Pednekar will be seen in Toilet- Ek Prem Katha.
