Kangana Ranaut has always been keen on being unconventional. So it is not surprising to see that fashion is not the prime focus for the actress who is making her debut at Cannes Film Festival 2018. While she is indeed walking the red carpet, there is a lot more of other elements that she is looking forward to. Kangana Ranaut has been invited for the Indian pavilion at the festival along with I&B Minister Smriti Irani and CBFC Chief Prasoon Joshi.
While audiences are eagerly looking forward to what Kangana Ranaut will be wearing for the red carpet, the actress believes that this film festival is beyond just fashion. Although she did assert that they have an international stylist on board for her looks, she also added that she would be wearing Indian for the red carpet. Besides that, Kangana is not too thrilled about talking about fashion beyond this point. For her what matters is the festival which she describes as the melting pot of world cinema.
Elaborating on her purpose of attending the festival at the French Riviera, Kangana revealed about the party that she has to be a part of, which felicitates artists across the globe. She has been chosen to represent India and the immense work of the country in the field of films. She also mentioned about talks going on to plan a conversation with her, Prasoon and Smriti Irani but there has been no progress on that front.
Also, another important commitment in the pipeline is the international magazine photoshoots that have been lined up. She is also planning to catch up with some of her friends from Los Angeles who are planning to fly to Cannes for a reunion of sorts.
Kangana Ranaut will be attending Festival De Cannes between May 9 and 11. The actress wants to use the opportunity to the fullest as she wants to learn more about filmmaking. From a sense of business to production to direction, there are many aspects of making a film that the actress wants to know about. While Ranaut has never been inhibited about her aspirations of taking up direction, she is happy to get this platform as a learning experience.
