South Korean juggernaut BTS, the world's biggest band, performed their newly released summer song of the year, ‘Butter’ on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert. The group is soaring high after a clean sweep at the Billboard Music Awards 2021 where they won all 4 categories they were nominated for: Top Selling Song, Top Duo/Group, Top Song Sales Artist, and Top Social Artist for their chart-topping single 'Dynamite'. The late-night show marked their second performance of 'Butter' after BBMAs 2021.

Kicking off their second appearance on Stephen Colbert's talk show, BTS participated in a fun segment doing some internet-famous hand gestures and well, in their own comedic way, delivered the bits hilariously - completely in English. If anyone has seen their variety show RUN BTS, you'd know the septet has impeccable comic timing.

After sparking the excitement, BTS delivered an entrancing performance all the way from Seoul. Dressed in all-black sharp suits, the seven-piece act filmed at a location that had a vibe of retro-esque underground casino; giving Michael Jackson's 'Smooth Criminal' vibes. The group brought their alluring charm with high-spirited upbeat summer bop with their immaculate in-sync choreography. The production was bigger than ever with male and female dancers joining the group at the end of the performance on the dance floor. Once again, BTS took virtual performances to another level.

'Butter' set a new all-time 24-hour record of 108.2 million views, surpassing their own 101.1 million view record for 'Dynamite' in the first 24 hours. The band now holds the No. 1 and No. 2 record spots on YouTube's All-Time Top 24 Hour Music Debuts, confirmed Youtube recently.

The pop icons will maintain momentum with their appearance on the Good Morning America 2021 Summer Concert Series on May 28. BTS recently announced the online live-streaming event BTS 2021 MUSTER SOWOOZOO, held in celebration of the 8th anniversary of BTS and ARMY.
