Brahmastra: Eagle-eyed fans speculate Deepika Padukone plays Jal Devi in new 4K trailer of Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt starrer

A few days ago, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, and Alia Bhatt starrer Brahmāstra trailer arrived on social media. It is one of the most awaited movie spectacles of 2022. Brahmāstra is a new original universe inspired by deeply rooted concepts and tales from Indian history but set in the modern world, with epic storytelling of fantasy, adventure, good vs evil, love, and hope; all told using cutting-edge technology and never-seen-before visual spectacles. While fans get to see their favourites in this mythological fantasy movie, rumours are rife that Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone make special appearances in the upcoming film.

A day ago, the makers dropped 4K trailer of the film which begins with Amitabh Bachchan's narration "Jal, Vaayu, Agni - Pracheen kaal se hamare beech kuch aisi shaktiyaan hain joh astron mein bhari huyi hain (Water, air, fire - from ancient times there are some such powers among us which have become heavy in the astronomy)." In the first few seconds, you witness a woman walking with a sea of water tide behind her. Fans are speculating that the role of Jal Devi is played by Deepika Padukone. While the makers are yet to confirm both the cameos, it won't be a surprise for Deepika to make an appearance considering she was seen in Ayan's last film Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani with Ranbir.
