The glitz and glamour return to Mumbai as the Macho Hint presents Bollywood Hungama Style Icons Summit and Awards 2024 kicked off its second edition. Starting on May 2, at the Taj Lands' End, the event promises to be a star-studded celebration of style and talent in the Indian entertainment industry. This year's ceremony goes beyond just awards. Industry insiders and fans can also look forward to invigorating panel discussions featuring prominent figures. Kicking off the sixth panel of the day are actors Rashami Desai, Priyanka Chahar Chaudhary, and Urvashi Rautela, for the session titled “Style over comfort, or vice versa? In today's "casual" day-and-age, what takes precedence -- style or comfort?”

Talking about the same, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, popularly known for TV show Udaariyaan and Bigg Boss, said she chooses comfort but doesn’t sacrifice styling or looking good. “For me, I don’t step out if I am not comfortable in a clothing. It is of utmost importance. That I way, I am confident enough and that piece of outfit will flatter you as well.”
Recalling about an incident of opting for a simpler look for a music video which went viral on social media, Priyanka said that she was quite trolled for it. “It was a look for a music video; I was playing a beggar. I had to wear the same clothing, go to the hotel, take a shower and come back to the set. I was dressed in that outfit and I was stopped at the lobby of the hotel by the staff which is understandable. This was an experience like if your work and your style doesn’t match, it happens.”
The actress was talking about the music video ‘Dost Banke’, a song by Rahat Fateh Ali Khan and Gurnazar Chattha. She quipped, “It was quite fun but I was also comfortable in those clothes,” as the audience laughed with her.
