Just a day ago, the state of Goa woke up to the shocking news of the demise of their Chief Minister, Manohar Parrikar. The politician was suffering from pancreatic cancer and succumbed to the illness. Expressing their grief over the demise, the President Of India, Ram Nath Kovind shared a condolence tweet on the official handle saying, “Extremely sorry to hear of the passing of Shri Manohar Parrikar, Chief Minister of Goa, after an illness borne with fortitude and dignity. An epitome of integrity and dedication in public life, his service to the people of Goa and of India will not be forgotten.”
Followed by the news, many Bollywood celebs, some of them who have even met and interacted with Manohar Parrikar, took to Twitter to share their condolence messages. Amongst them were superstars like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Kamal Haasan amongst others.
