The three Deols- Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby last shared screen two years ago in the film Yamla Pagla Deewana 3. The father and sons are all set to reunite once again for the sequel of the 2007 film Apne.
Actor Bobby Deol who has been a part of interesting projects of recent is thrilled to reunite with his father and elder brother. Talking to a tabloid, Bobby said that his father and brother have an innate chemistry which clicks with the audience. He said that the Deols are known to be a close knit family and that their values are reflected in the family dramas they make. He said that the familial relationships were the USP of Apne.
Director Anil Sharma has been reportedly working on the script for a while. The project is scheduled either to go on floors in March or April 2021. The makers are currently working on the locations but it seems like it will be shot in Mumbai and London. Apne starred Kiron Kher, Shilpa Shetty, and Katrina Kaif as the female leads.
