As Bollywood Hungama completes 25 years in 2023, the celebration has started with its first-ever award show BH Style Icons Awards. The glamorous night celebrates achievers from diverse walks of life – whether it’s Television, Sports, Business, Fashion, OTT, Regional Cinema and more. On this glamorous evening, fashion, confidence, and some well-known individuals win honours! It started with Sonaakshi Raaj winning the ‘Most Stylish Fashion Designer’ award, presented by Vikram Phadnis.

For the unversed, Sonaakshi Raaj is a name synonymous with high-end fashion, innovation, and elegance. Her eye for detail and unique design sense has made her one of the most sought-after fashion designers in India. Her designs are a fusion of modern and traditional styles, making her a favourite among celebrities and fashion lovers alike.

In fact, Sonaakshi Raaj’s designs have been worn by some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry. Her clients include Priyanka Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Sonakshi Sinha, Jacqueline Fernandez, and many others. Her creations have also been featured in leading fashion magazines such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, and Elle.

While accepting the honour, the renowned designer said, “It feels great. Honestly, it feels great to know that fashion and style are recognised in such a big way. Well, all I can say is that there is nothing that drives me more than fashion in my life. It’s my biggest high greatest feeling to be a part of this industry that I am so passionate about. Ironically, I will be completing ten years in the industry this year.”

She further added, “And, it’s such a humbling feeling to be recognised and acknowledged by everyone in the industry. This is the place I dreamt to be all my life and I cannot believe I am living my dream today. So I wish to be here for many many years to come and I promise you this is just the beginning.”

Speaking of BH Style Icons 2023, held on March 24, 2023, at JW Marriott, numerous celebs came together to attend this mesmerising night. With 25+ categories, the event was presided over by a panel of jury members such as Raveena Tandon, Shilpa Shetty, Farah Khan, Milind Soman, Vikram Phadnis, Falguni & Shane Peacock, and Tanya Ghavri.
