On Tuesday, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and the entire team of their forthcoming high-octane action drama Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, came together to attend the trailer launch which was held in Mumbai. While discussing about the film and the prep they had to undergo to do the power-packed stunts which are an integral part of the film, Akshay Kumar also touched upon other subjects including film reviews.

While film reviews were considered to hold a certain kind of status, films, these days, also give extensive prominence to box-office results too. However, superstar Akshay Kumar continues to stress on the need for film reviews. During the trailer launch, the actor opened up about holding reviews on a high pedestal, and added, "Reviews ka bahut important shrey hai. Reviews jab aate hain, achha lagta hai jab sitare milte hain. Agar aap aisa samaj ki review ka ehmiyat nahi hai, toh galat hai. Review ki bahut ehmiyat hai (Reviews are very important and holds credibility. When these reviews come, you feel good, especially when you get those stars. If you think that reviews don’t hold any importance, then you are wrong. Because they do).”

Speaking of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan, the film promises to take audiences in an action-packed journey filled with emotions as two soldiers battle it out with a man who poses threat to not just their nation but also humanity as a whole. The film also stars Manushi Chillar, Alaya F as the leading ladies along with Prithviraj Sukumaran as the antagonist and Sonakshi Sinha playing a key cameo. Produced under the banner Pooja Entertainment and written-directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the film is slated for release during Eid, on April 10, 2024.
