Amongst the millennial husbands, many Gen Y stars seem to be setting some major goals for future couples. One of them is Ayushmann Khurrana who was rock solid in his support when his wife Tahira Kashyap was diagnosed with cancer. While he has remained calm, composed yet concerned and caring for his wife, Tahira too handled the entire diagnosis and treatment with immense courage. Recently, Ayushmann decided to speak about his wife and her battle with cancer. In the same report, he revealed that it was her strength and never-give-up attitude that kept him from breaking down.
In an interview, where Ayushmann Khurrana applauded his wife Tahira Kashyap for her courage, he also revealed that they got to know about her cancer on his birthday. Recalling the day, Ayushmann mentioned that they had gone to watch Manmarziyaan on his birthday and when they returned they heard the news. He further mentioned that because she handled the news bravely, it was her positive attitude that kept him going. He also maintained that he was quite busy during that time owing to the intense promotional activities during Andhadhun and Badhaai Ho.
Furthermore, the actor also spoke about how her battle has been inspiring for many others. In fact, he also stated that Tahira is busy spreading awareness about the disease and that she has been giving lectures on the same at many places. Not only does she help people by spreading knowledge about how to combat it but according to Ayushmann, she has now become a leader to the cancer patients with her inspiring story.
On the work front, Ayushmann Khurrana has a couple of films in the pipeline which I includes Dreamgirl alongside Nushrat Bharucha and Bala with Bhumi Pednekar.
