We all know the kind of cinema fever that followed post the release of the highly anticipated Jawan. It has created a new record of sorts for the Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan, who ended up giving two of the biggest hits of the year. Acclaimed director Atlee recently shed light on the intriguing journey of collaborating with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan for their upcoming project. Atlee recalled how he told Vijay about the exciting news of Shah Rukh Khan's interest in working with him.

Atlee, like any director, viewed Shah Rukh Khan's proposition as a rare and golden opportunity. In response to SRK's interest, Atlee promptly accepted the offer, recognizing the immense potential of the collaboration. However, he did not keep this exciting development to himself; he approached his longtime collaborator, Thalapathy Vijay, to share the news. Upon revealing the proposition to Vijay, Atlee recounted and told Hindustan Times, “Then I went to Vijay sir and told him. He said, ‘Are you serious? He came to you?’ I said he did. He said, ‘Give your life to it.’ So, everyone was very supportive.”

Speaking of Jawan, the film is an action entertainer featuring Shah Rukh Khan in a double role. It revolves around the fight of a man against the system with his gang of girls which includes actors like Priyamani, Sanya Malhotra, Sangeeta Bhattacharya, Aaliyah Qureshi, Lehar Khan, and Girija Oak in the most unique ways. With Nayanthara playing the no nonsense cop and Vijay Sethupathi as the antagonist, the film released in theatres on September 7 in three languages, namely, Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
