In a recent interview with InStyle Australia, Alia Bhatt opened up about her genuine appreciation for the simple joys of life, especially when she's in cities like New York, which boast fewer crowds compared to the bustling Mumbai. The actress expressed her excitement about engaging in ordinary activities, such as taking leisurely strolls in the park with her daughter, Raha Kapoor, during their international travels. Alia and her actor-husband, Ranbir Kapoor, recently embarked on a vacation to New York, accompanied by their 10-month-old baby.
Alia Bhatt's candid conversation with InStyle Australia shed light on the serene moments she cherishes while exploring foreign destinations. In these cities, where her celebrity status is met with less recognition, Alia relishes the freedom to partake in everyday activities without drawing much attention. “We can’t really do that in India. I can’t take her out like that, it becomes a little complicated for us. So just walking around and watching her fall asleep in her pram, taking her to cafes and shopping. I put her in my little carrier and she’s just like, strapped onto me. That’s something that I really cherish,” Alia shared. The frenzy and adoration of her fans in India often make it challenging for her to enjoy such casual outings without intrusion.
For the unversed, Ranbir and Alia welcomed Raha in November 2022, and made the announcement through social media. To announce the name of her daughter and explain the meaning behind it, Alia dropped an elaborate post.
On the professional front, Alia Bhatt was recently seen in Karan Johar's Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani alongside Ranveer Singh, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi. The film released in theatres on July 28, 2023, and received rave reviews from critics. She was also seen in her Hollywood debut Heart of Stones. In her pipeline, she has director Farhan Akhtar's Jee Le Zaraa with Katrina Kaif and Priyanka Chopra.
On the other hand, Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar alongside Shraddha Kapoor. The film was directed by Luv Ranjan, produced by Luv Films, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg, and presented by T- Series’ Bhushan Kumar. TJMM received rave reviews and did well at the box office. Ranbir also has Animal in the pipeline alongside Rashmika Mandanna. Helmed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film also features Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, and Tripti Dimri.
