Filmmaker Abhishek Varman, who helmed 2 States in the year 2014, is all set to make a multi-starrer film in collaboration with Fox Star Studios, Dharma Productions and Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment. The film, titled Kalank, went on floors earlier this week with Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha and Aditya Roy Kapur. As the film began, Arjun Kapoor turned up on the sets to support to his 2 States director.
Arjun Kapoor, on Wednesday evening, visited the sets of Kalank. He was snapped in a candid moment while enjoying a conversation. He came to the sets to support his friend and 2 States director Abhishek Varman. As they share a really good bond and had given a successful film, it was really sweet of Arjun to turn to the sets to support his friend.
Kalank marks the reunion of the late 80s and 90s famous on-screen pair Madhuri Dixit and Sanjay Dutt. The other stars include Alia Bhatt, Varun Dhawan, Sonakshi Sinha, Aditya Roy Kapur! The film, which was incepted 15 years ago by Karan Johar and his dad Yash Johar, has found its way. It will now release on April 19, 2019.
Meanwhile, on the work front, six years after their first film together, Ishaqzaade couple Arjun Kapoor and Parineeti Chopra will soon share screen space in Namaste England. It is scheduled to hit the theatres on December 7, 2018.
Before this film, Arjun Kapoor will be seen with Parineeti Chopra in Dibakar Banerjee’s directorial, Sandeep Aur Pinky Faraar which is slated to release on August 3, 2018.
