The Archies: Shah Rukh Khan had the funniest response to Suhana Khan who complained about not receiving compliments from Ganesh Hegde, reveals choreographer

The much talked about debut of Suhana Khan, Agastya Nanda, Khushi Kapoor, and a host of other upcoming stars, is now, only a few days away. The countdown has begun, and the newbies are quite excited to see the response they will get as their debut film The Archies is all set to premiere digitally this week. Sharing his experience of shooting with these debutants was choreographer Ganesh Hegde who worked with team for the Zoya Akhtar directorial, and he had an interesting revelation to make about a fun banter which happened between the famous father-daughter duo, Shah Rukh Khan and Suhana Khan.

It seems that Suhana Khan complained to her father that her choreographer Ganesh Hegde hardly shares any compliments. In an interview with News18, Ganesh said, “He came to the rehearsal hall when the actors were practicing skating. When he sees something good, he gets very excited and happy and that’s exactly what happened. When we took a break, he came to me and told me that Suhana was saying that I don’t compliment her.” Further elaborating on how Shah Rukh Khan had the wittiest response, he continued, “To this, he said to her, ‘Ganesh has never complimented me. Tujhe kya compliment karega (What, he is going to compliment you)?’

However, the choreographer also maintained that he did eventually praise the budding actress. In fact, he also revealed that her nature and her dedication is quite inspiring as she has inherited it from her father. “I told her that if I complimented her, she would stop at one 100 percent, and I wanted her to push to 150 percent. Once the song was over, I told her why I wasn’t praising her earlier. I also told her about the amazing job she did and she was very happy. Suhana has a flair for skating. She was more comfortable than the others. It’s her nature also. She gets to it. She’s very much like Shah Rukh bhai (brother). She’s hell-bent on achieving perfection.”

The Archies, based on the comics by the same name, is expected to feature Suhana Khan in the role of Veronica Lodge from the comics. The film, also starring a host of other newbies like Vedang Raina, Mihir Ahuja, Dot, and Yuvraj Menda, is expected to stream on Netflix from December 7 onwards.
