In only a few days, Zoya Akhtar’s musical feature The Archies will be released on Netflix. The film marks the debut of Shah Rukh Khan’s daughter Suhana Khan, Sridevi’s daughter Khushi Kapoor and Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson Agastya Nanda. The film also introduces several new faces including Dot (Aditi), Mihir Ahuja, Yuvraj Menda and Vedang Raina. In a recent fun conversation, the actors spilt some beans about each other.

During the milkshake challenge, all of them are in pairs and have to pick up labels from multiple jars –moody, witty, charming etc. Agastya Nanda and Suhana Khan are paired as the actor picks a label and says, “I think Suhana is a big gossip queen. You cannot tell her any secret.”

Suhana then picks a label from the ‘witty’ jar and says, “I think you are quite witty.” Agastya then calls her ‘least’ funny person. Suhana responds to him by saying, “You always laugh at everything I say!” as he adds, “I have known you the longest, and I can confirm that you are the least funny.” However, Suhana says, “Ya but funny and witty is different also.” Then, she picks a label from the ‘moody’ jar as Agastya interrupts her, “What did you skip charming? Charming was in between! Pass it when you are done, because you are the most moody person.”

The film is an Indian adaptation of a Global IP, the iconic Archies Comics. The Archies, set in the 1960s in an Anglo-Indian community based in the fictional hill station town called Riverdale is a coming-of-age story that follows the lives of the town’s favourite set of teenagers- Archie, Betty, Veronica, Jughead, Reggie, Ethel and Dilton. The film explores friendship, freedom, love, heartbreak and rebellion.

The Archies is scheduled for global release on December 7, on Netflix.
