Aquaman star Jason Momoa thanks fans for giving his family ‘space’ and ‘privacy’ following split from Lisa Bone : Bollywood News

Jason Momoa recently walked the red carpet with his kids for The Batman premiere in New York City, to support his step-daughter Zoë Kravitz, who plays Selina Kyle/Catwoman in the new film. The Aquaman star shared his gratitude with fans and the media for respecting his family’s privacy in the wake of his split from former companion Lisa Bonet.

Jason took to Instagram to share a series of pictures with his son Nakoa-Wolf (13) and daughter Lola (14), both of whom he shares with former wife Lisa Bonet, followed by a caption where he openly talked about his split for the first time in two months. He went on to express gratitude and appreciated the fans for respecting his family’s privacy and giving them space. "So excited for everyone to see @thebatman @zoeisabellakravitz your perfect as cat woman i'm so proud of you. so excited for @snl next week you’re going to kill it," Momoa wrote in the caption of the post.

"We had a wonderful time in NYC," he continues. "Mahalo to the fans and press for being generous and giving us space for the children its hard enough separating in the public eye. We appreciate the continued privacy through these times aloha j."

The former couple announced in a joint statement about their amicable split in January 2022, after 16 years of being together and nearly 5 years of marriage.

A source close to Jason Momoa told People magazine that the star "made an extra effort to be there" at the premiere to support Zoë, despite his busy travel schedule. "He loves Zoë and always has. That hasn't changed," the source said. "He believes in family. He's always said that, and him going [to the premiere] is to show support for the family. That's what he does. And that's who he is. It's not more complicated than that." The source also added, "Family comes before anything for him. He's also close to Lenny. It's all very comfortable with Jason. That's who he is."
