Anushka Sharma shares a palatial residence with cricket superstar Virat Kohli in Mumbai. But before she kicked off her career in modelling, Sharma has always opened up about being a part of middle-class family. She has also spoken about coming from a military background. In a recent video posted by her social media, the actress took her fans and followers into her childhood as she gave them a glimpse of her childhood home and favourite streets in Madhya Pradesh.

Anushka Sharma revealed that she was brought up in Mhow, Madhya Pradesh. At the start of the video, posted by her on Instagram, she is seen giving us directions to her childhood home, wherein she is seen saying that ‘it is located at the end of the turn’. Furthermore, she also gave a sneak peek into her childhood home which is expected to be located on the first floor of a one-plus-one building. She is further seen showing us a house of one of her friends, a glimpse of her Army Public School and several locations of Mhow streets which is close to her heart.

In the caption posted along with the video, she recalled memories with her brother Karnesh Sharma, adding, “Revisiting MHOW, MP. The place where I first learnt to swim as a kid, the place where my brother tricked me to ask for a video game on MY birthday which only he played with of course, place where I had many scooter rides with my dad and the place that will always have a piece of my heart”. Followed by the post, actresses like Rakul Preet Singh, Gul Panag, and Sanya Malhotra commented on the post. While Rakul said, “Uff !! Cantts <3”, Gul added, “OMG I need to go back to MHOW now !” whereas Sanya dropped heart and love emojis.

On the work front, Anushka Sharma will next be seen in Chakda Xpress in which she will be seen playing the role of popular Indian female cricketer Jhulan Goswami. While the release date of the film is yet to revealed, it is expected to premiere directly on Netflix.
