Team India’s third test match against Australia got over prematurely on the third day yesterday in Indore after the defeat of the home team. Following this, India’s star cricketer and his wife and actress Anushka Sharma visited the Mahakaleshwar Jyotirlinga temple today in Ujjain, which isn’t far from Indore. The videos of their visit to the Shiva temple have surfaced online.

In one video, the couple is seen ardently worshipping the Shivalinga along with some priests from the temple. The other one sees Virat and Anushka sitting patiently among common devotees in a hall inside the temple. The people too are seen giving them their space.

News agency ANI quoted Anushka speaking about their visit saying, “We came here to offer prayers and had a good darshan at Mahakaleshwar temple.” Virat and Anushka’s gesture of not showing VIP culture is winning hearts of their fans.

On the work front, Anushka was last seen in a full-fledged role in Aanand L Rai’s Zero with Shah Rukh Khan, more than four years ago. She is currently gearing up for her next titled Chakda ‘Xpress. The film is based on the life of the former team India cricketer Jhulan Goswami. The actress went through a rigorous regime to get into the skin of the character.

As far as team India is concerned, despite losing the third test, the home country is ahead in the series by 2-1. The fourth test match will start from March 9 in Ahmedabad.
