Bollywood actor Anupam Kher is gearing up for his next Metro... In Dino helmed by Anurag Basu, starring Aditya Roy Kapur, Sara Ali Khan, Anupam Kher, Neena Gupta, Pankaj Tripathi, Konkana Sen Sharma, Ali Fazal, and Fatima Sana Shaikh. The actor got the chance to sing a song, which he described as a dream come true experience for him.

The movie tells four distinct tales about contemporary relationships and their difficulties. Upon wrapping up his recording session with the director and composer of the music Pritam, the Anupam released a video from the sets on his social media account. Throughout the video, he emphasised that anything is attainable in life. Pritam was also spotted congratulating himself on his performance of the song. Sharing the video, he wrote in caption, “All dreams come true: I never thought in my dreams that I will get an opportunity to sing a song under the music direction of Pritam and in Anurag Basu's film #MetroInDini. I only say, “kuch bhi ho sakta hai (anything is possible). #PritamDa and #AnuragDa are geniuses in their field. It was a matter of pride for me to sing for the. Jai Ho.”

The first chapter of Life in a Metro was published in 2007. The ensemble cast included actors who portrayed the major roles, including Dharmendra, Nafisa Ali, Shilpa Shetty, Kay Kay Menon, Shiney Ahuja, Irrfan Khan, Konkona Sen Sharma, Kangana Ranaut, and Sharman Joshi.

On the professional front, Anupam Kher was last seen in Shiv Shastri Balboa alongside Neena Gupta. The actor has many interesting projects lined up in his pipeline. He has started working on The Vaccine War as well. This is his second collaboration with director Vivek Agnihotri after last year's blockbuster The Kashmir Files. The actor also has Kangana Ranaut's directorial Emergency. Some of his other films include Kuch Khatta Ho Jaaye, The Signature with Mahima Chaudhry, IB71 and Nautanki.
