Anupam Kher honoured by IndiGo flight crew; says, “I am deeply touched by your kind gesture”

Anupam Kher expresses his gratitude towards IndiGo flight crew.

Bollywood actor Anupam Kher shared snippets of his recent trip to Bengaluru on social media. The actor was honoured and congratulated on an Indigo flight.

Anupam recently took to Instagram and posted videos and images from his airplane travel. The actor posed for photos among the flight's passengers. He also uploaded a picture of a note that the staff had written for him. In the video, the air hostess said, “I request all of you to stand on your own seats. We will try to take everyone in the picture. Thank you so much and a huge round of applause for Mr Anupam Kher and his hard work.”

Further she handed him a note and said, “Sir, for you. Thank you for flying with us.” In the following video Anupam said, “This is so amazing that this kind of a welcome is given to me. I thank the captain, the crew and all of you for giving me this great honour to introduce me to the flight to Bangalore. I wish you all the good luck and jai ho to all of you. Thank you so much. Jai Hind.” Sharing the post, he captioned, “Thank you @indigo.6e Capt. #TejasviShah Capt. #JohnScaria the wonderful crew #MariyamAzad #SubahPriya #Tashi and #Pratiksha for making me feel so so special on my flight 6E979 and acknowledging my hard work. I am deeply touched by your kind gesture. Jai Hind! #Humbled #Happy.”

Reacting to the video, IndiGo commented on the post, “Thank you, Mr Kher, for joining us on our flight. It was an honour to have a legendary actor like you onboard. Your talent and contributions to cinema inspire us all. We shall definitely pass on your kind words to our crew #goindiGo #LoveYouToo ~Team IndiGo.”

On the professional front, Anupam Kher was last seen in Shiv Shastri Balboa alongside Neena Gupta. The actor has many interesting projects lined up in his pipeline. He has started working on The Vaccine War as well. This is his second collaboration with director Vivek Agnihotri after last year's blockbuster The Kashmir Files. The actor also has Kangana Ranaut's directorial Emergency. Some of his other films include Kuch Khatta Ho Jaaye, Anurag Basu's Metro In Dino with Aditya Roy Kapur and Sara Ali Khan, The Signature with Mahima Chaudhry, IB71 and Nautanki.
