In a recent interaction with Variety India, Ananya Panday spoke about her five-year plan, underlining that she believes her journey has only just begun. When asked where she sees herself in the next five years, Ananya responded candidly, “There’s so many more genres I’ve not explored. So many more characters I haven’t played, so many directors I want to work with. I really feel like I’ve not even begun properly yet. I feel there’s so much more to achieve and so much to do.”
The actress, who made her debut with Student of the Year 2, has since featured in films across genres, including Gehraiyaan and Dream Girl 2. While her filmography reflects a mix of commercial entertainers and relationship dramas, Ananya indicated that she is keen to push beyond familiar territory. Beyond professional milestones, she also spoke about what keeps her motivated. “My favourite part of my job is the influence that we have. The impact that cinema can make on people,” she shared, highlighting her belief in storytelling as a medium of connection and change.
Over the past year, Ananya has continued to expand her on-screen presence with diverse projects and collaborations. While she refrained from naming specific directors or genres she hopes to explore next, her remarks suggest a conscious effort to evolve and experiment.
