Bollywood star Akshay Kumar and actress-turned-author Twinkle Khanna have been the epitome of couple goals for years. However, in a throwback interview, Akshay revealed that marrying Twinkle, the daughter of late legendary actor Rajesh Khanna, was something he had never imagined. During a conversation on Sansad TV, the actor expressed his disbelief over how life turned out. “Maine kabhi zindagi mein bhi nahin socha tha ki Rajesh Khanna ji ki beti se meri shaadi hogi. Kabhi nahin socha tha,” Akshay shared.
From seeking work to marriage
Akshay recounted his early days in the industry when he would visit Rajesh Khanna’s office seeking opportunities. He recalled going there with his portfolio, hoping to land a role. “Main unke office mein jaaya karta tha photo leke sir mujhe koi kaam dedo,” the actor said, highlighting his humble beginnings and the unexpected turn his life took when he married the superstar's daughter.
