Actor Adivi Sesh has begun promotions for his upcoming film Dacoit with the release of its first track, “Rubaroo”, unveiled today. The romantic number, featuring Sesh alongside co-star Mrunal Thakur, marks the first step in the film’s promotional rollout ahead of its theatrical release in April.
Directed by Shaniel Deo, the film also stars Anurag Kashyap in a key antagonist role. Positioned as a drama with emotional and narrative intensity, the film introduces its central relationship through the newly released track, offering audiences an early look at the characters’ dynamic.
Sesh, who is known to be closely involved in the development of his projects, has also co-written the script for the film. The launch of” Rubaroo” signals the beginning of a phased promotional strategy, with more material expected to be revealed in the lead-up to release.
Ahead of the song launch, the actor visited the revered Bhadrakali Temple in Warangal to seek blessings as the film enters its public-facing phase.
Speaking about the moment, Adivi Sesh said, “Every film begins long before the cameras roll. Dacoit has been a very personal journey for me, especially because I’ve been involved with the script from the start. “Rubaroo” is special because it captures the emotional heartbeat of the film , the vulnerability, the connection, and the quiet intensity between these characters. Launching promotions with this song felt right. Before we begin sharing this story with audiences, I wanted to take a moment to seek blessings and gratitude. We’ve poured a lot into this film, and I’m looking forward to everyone experiencing it in April.”
The film is slated for release in April, with the makers expected to continue unveiling promotional material in the coming weeks.
