Actor Aadil Jaipuri, grandson of legendary lyricist Hasrat Jaipuri, sets his eyes on the silver screen

Famous as a child artist for 13 years, Aadil Jaipuri, a talented actor and a trained dancer, aims at returning to the silver screen as a lead artist. Aadil Jaipuri is the grandson of legendary lyricist Hasrat Jaipuri, whose most notable works have been the evergreen ‘Badan Pe Sitare Lapete Hue’, ‘Zindagi Ek Safar Hai Suhana’, ‘Jaane Kahan Gaye Woh Din’, ‘Sun Sahiba Sun’, ‘Baharon Phool Barsaao Mera Mehboob Aaya Hai’ and many more. Hasrat Jaipuri’s beautiful words along with music by famous composers Shankar-Jaikishan produced many iconic tracks for the Greatest Showman of Indian Cinema, Mr. Raj Kapoor.

“I was too young when my grandfather passed away but I have had the exposure to his legacy that he left behind. I believe, I subconsciously picked up my calling towards the field of arts ever since then”, said Aadil.

Aadil was an audience to his grandfather’s talent since he was a child and in that environment, the performer in him began to blossom. Mr. Kirti Kumar recognised that in him and discovered young Aadil Jaipuri. He was subsequently casted to play the role of young Govinda in the movie Do Aankhen Baara Haath.

This break then lead to a successful career for Aadil Jaipuri as a child actor. He went on to perform in feature films like Laawaaris, as the son of Jackie Shroff and Dimple Kapadia and in Hadh, where he again played the role of Jackie Shroff and Ayesha Jhulka’s son. He worked for 13 years as a child actor in the television industry for some of the popular shows, namely, Saamnewali Khidki Mein.

‘Archana Puran Singh’, ‘Zindagi Teri Meri Kahani’, where he played the son of Parmeet Sethi and Mrinal Kulkarni. Each show crossed 400 episodes. Besides the above, his spree of acting continued in several other TV shows as well.

When asked, what brought him back to the field of acting, he said, “This has been my passion. I live, breathe, and think acting. It has always been my inner calling. Essaying characters that a director wants me to, bringing the character to life on screen and getting lauded for it is what I strive for.”

After a break from the field of performing arts post his childhood acting streak, Aadil once again preps, this time, not just with his talent of acting but also his talent of dancing, to return as a mainstream actor, setting his eyes on the silver screen.

With the support of his family and peers in the industry, Aadil Jaipuri is now set to showcase his talent, once again, as he gets roped in by Wild Buffaloes Music, an up and coming music label, for their next single, to be sung by a Bollywood celebrity singer.
