Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal recently had grand celebrations of their wedding. The couple got legally married in 2020 and couldn’t celebrate their union for two years owing to the pandemic and personal reasons. Finally, the two celebrated in a grand style in celebrations that included parties and receptions spanning three cities, Mumbai, Delhi, and Lucknow.

The actress recently gave a glimpse of her Mehendi-covered hand on social media where one can see the actress has Ali's name inked on her hand. Previously Richa has inked her parents' names on her wrist. This was a special gesture she did around the wedding celebrations time as she wanted it to be a surprise for her beau.

At the wedding after-party which was hosted earlier this month, Hrithik Roshan, Saba Azad, Taapsee Pannu, Dia Mirza, and more were in attendance.

In a statement, it was revealed that the couple registered their wedding in 2020. The note began with Richa saying, “Two years ago we formalised our union and just then the pandemic hit us all,” before Ali added, “Like the rest of the nation, we too were struck by personal tragedies one after the other.” The couple then said, “And now, as we all enjoy this window of respite, we are finally celebrating with our families and friends. We are so very touched and blessed by the love and blessings coming our way.”

For unversed, Richa Chadha and Ali Fazal, who have been dating for a really long time, were originally meant to be married in April 2020, but owing to COVID-19 restrictions, the wedding was positioned twice. The two reportedly met on the sets of Fukrey in 2012 for the first time. The two will soon share the screen once again in the third installment of the Fukrey franchise.
