Director-producer Karan Johar has given the audience some of the iconic Bollywood films; Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, and Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna are names to a few. In fact, his last directorial, Ae Dil Hai Mushkil had also managed to carve a niche in the heart of the audience. On October 28, the romantic-drama clocked six.

To celebrate the same, KJo took to his verified social media handle and shared a video along with a heartfelt note. The video features the cameo of Shah Rukh Khan, in which he talks about “one-sided” love. The video also has some snips of the star cast. The note read, “A piece of my own dil rests in this movie, exploring the entire gamut of emotions between love, friendship and of course - ek tarfaa pyaar!”

Lauding the efforts of the ADHM team, Johar further added, “The cast, the team, the music - everything that resonated with the audiences across came straight down to talking to all the hearts. 6 years on, it feels like it continues to speak to many and for that I’m eternally grateful,” followed by a heart emoticon.

As soon as Karan shared the post on his feed, many from his 13.4 M followers flooded the comments section with their reaction, especially with red-heart emoji. Meanwhile, a bunch of Karan’s friends also dropped sweet comments. Karan’s close friend and designer Manish Malhotra commented, “Memories”.

The same post was shared on the Instagram page of Dharma Productions with, “A film that makes your dil feel a thousand emotions of ek tarfa pyaar ki taakat, heartbreak & the sukoon of unconditional dosti!” written in the caption.

It is worth mentioning that Karan did not direct any film post the release of ADHM. However, he is now all set to don the hate of directors again with his upcoming profile Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt will be seen sharing the screen space.
