It’s been 10 years since filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and actress Soni Razdan’s daughter Alia Bhatt forayed into movies. The actress made her debut in Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year in the year 2012 along with two other debutantes – Varun Dhawan and Sidharth Malhotra. Today, the actress celebrates his decade in the film industry.

On this occasion the actress took to social media to share a sunkissed selfie and wrote,” 10 years today…and I am so so grateful.. EVERY SINGLE DAY!!!.. I promise to be better - dream deeper - work harder !!!!! thank you for the magic love love and only love.”

Ranveer Singh left a comment on her post which read, “Lucky to have been a small part of this journey with you…more love, more life, more blessings.” The two actors were seen together in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. They will reunite in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.

Earlier in the day, Student Of The Year director Karan Johar also shared throwback pictures with all his three students and wrote,” Down the years with my students of every year! So proud of their cinema journey! It’s no Raaz(I) that they have mastered the ABCD of their craft and emerged as Shershaahs of goodness and talent! Love you!❤ #10yearsofsoty.”

Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt has had a tremendous year with three successes with two at the box office and one on Netflix namely, Gangubai Kathiawadi, Brahmastra and Darlings. She is set to make her Hollywood debut in Heart Of Stone alongside Gal Gadot and Jamie Dornan. The film is set to stream on Netflix in 2023. She also has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani.

The actress is yet to sign another project soon. Personally, she is expecting her first child with actor-husband Ranbir Kapoor.
