The past two weeks have featured big ticket releases BAHUBALI and BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN respectively that have been making waves at the box office. This week we see the release of the critically acclaimed film MASAAN featuring Richa Chadda, and the Hollywood superhero film ANT-MAN.
As expected, reports suggest that BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN that commences its second week in theatres continues to hold strong with an opening occupancy rate close to 60% in morning shows, while BAHUBALI that is in its third week continues to hold the audiences interest with a 35% occupancy rate. On the other hand, the new release MASAAN that does not have enough morning shows has opened on a sluggish note.
Expectations are that this weekend will be again dominated by BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN and BAHUBALI, while MASAAN and ANT-MAN will have an uphill task ahead to post decent collections.
