There’s no dhamaal at the box-office yet again, with the two major releases -- DHAMAAL and DARLING -- opening to a 25% - 40% response at several centres. DHAMAAL was expected to fetch a 70% - 80% start in view of the fact that two comic capers [PARTNER, HEYY BABYY] had performed exceedingly well in the recent past. As for DARLING, the film has been appreciated, but it hasn’t translated into solid collections yet.
Meanwhile, the crucial cricket match on Saturday is expected to make a dent in the business of all films, past and present.
