Despite having diverse films being placed on the same platter, this week's releases have started on a rather disappointing note at the ticket window. None of them have opened well at the box-office and by the look of it, most of them are likely to get exhausted before the weekend comes to a close.
In comparison, the opening of MICKEY VIRUS is slightly better. The opening has been in the range of 10% to 15%, which is expected to pick up during the evening/night shows. However, the increase is not expected to be substantial enough. Though Manish Paul has a huge fan following owing to his popularity on the small screen, the film will need a miraculous jump over the weekend to sustain at the BO.
It's a known fact that the biz takes a dip during the pre-Diwali days, since the public is generally occupied in prepping up for the festivity. The audience is now looking forward to the Diwali biggie KRRISH 3, which is expected to take the BO by a storm.
Mickey Virus collects Rs. 4.75 cr on 1st weekend, breakup Friday Rs. 1.35 cr, Saturday Rs. 1.60 cr, Sunday Rs. 1.80 cr.
