Overseas: Red signal for ‘Traffic Signal’

By Bollywood Hungama

SALAAM-E-ISHQ is a success story in U.K. Its second weekend numbers are truly impressive. In fact, the film has already crossed the half-a-million mark in this territory and with no major opposition till 16th February [EKLAVYA], the business is expected to be bountiful.

On the other hand, TRAFFIC SIGNAL has met with a poor fate in U.K., recording dull collections. But that doesn’t come as a surprise since Madhur’s earlier films also didn’t work in U.K. Have a look:-

CHANDNI BAR [opening weekend: £ 1,156 on 7 screens/total business: £ 1,745], AAN [opening weekend: £ 19,460 on 12 screens/total business: £ 39,564], PAGE 3 [opening weekend: £ 2,688 on 3 screens/total business: £ 7,764] and CORPORATE [opening weekend: £ 10,407 on 12 screens/total business: £ 21,725].

Weekend: February 2 – 4, 2007.
