Initially, the sequel to the comic caper Welcome titled Welcome Back seemed well-prepared to clash with the much awaited Aamir Khan starrer P.K. and now news is that the makers have decided to release the film, a week prior to the scheduled date, i.e. on December 19.
Revealing about the sudden change in dates, director Anees Bazmee stated that releasing the film on this date will ensure audience presence as the Christmas week has always been beneficial for films. Producer Firoz Nadiadwala is excited about it since he believes Christmas will be lucky for the film as the prequel Welcome too released during this festival.
While the sequel Welcome Back will retain its earlier cast like Anil Kapoor, Nana Patekar and Paresh Rawal, the new addition includes the leads, John Abraham and Shruti Haasan.
