Vidya Balan, who had the whole of the nation dancing and grooving with her recent releases, has now been roped in as the brand ambassador by GlaxoSmithKline Consumer Healthcare (parent company of Horlicks) to announce the launch of its 'Horlicks Aahar Abhiyan'.
The said campaign will be aimed to tackle issues of malnutrition among the youth. As a part of this campaign, the company will be partnering an NGO named 'Child in Need Institute' (CINI) in West Bengal. In addition to that, it will also contribute Re. 1 towards the initiative from the sale of their product Horlicks in the state. Talking about this, Jayant Singh (Marketing Director- GlaxoSmithKline Consumer) said that in order to make this effort a successful one, they are delighted to partner with the CINI in West Bengal, which is a national level organization, reaching approximately 50 lakh people across the country.
