The month of October has been really memorable in many ways for Shatrughan Sinha. While on one hand, this month marks the 38th year of the release of his film Dostana (which had Amitabh Bachchan as his co-star), on the other hand, his new play ‘Pati, Patni Aur Main’ was recently staged at the ‘National Centre for Performing Arts’ (NCPA).
Amitabh Bachchan, who was the chief guest at Shatrughan Sinha’s play, said that he could not have performed so well (like Shatrughan Sinha) in the play. On the other hand, Shatrughan Sinha said that it was really a touching moment for him (with the presence of Amitabh Bachchan) and that he was really grateful to Amitabh Bachchan for gracing the show.
While the play ‘Pati, Patni Aur Main’ has been directed by Ramesh Talwar, it has been written by Manohar Katdare. Besides Shatrughan Sinha, the play also features Rakesh Bedi, Dimple Dandia and Sanjay Goradia. Besides India, the play has travelled to UK, Nepal and US.
