By now, we all know that Shahid Kapoor is one happy man these days, with, both his personal and professional lives blooming like never before. In his personal life, while he is now all set to become a father, whereas, in his professional life, he will be seen in the most talked about drug drama Udta Punjab, wherein he plays the character of a rockstar named 'Tommy Singh'.
Mira Rajput saves hubby Shahid Kapoor’s name as Tommy on her cell phoneShahid Kapoor, in a heartfelt interview to a leading daily, besides all the other things, spoke about the 'Tommy effect' in his life. He confessed that, when he first met his then-girlfriend-now-wife Mira Rajput, he was just about to shoot for Udta Punjab. When he reached her house, Shahid Kapoor was 'decked' up totally (in his Tommy attire) that consisted of a ponytail, drop-crotch track pants and weird shoes! If that wasn't enough, Shahid Kapoor even told Mira Rajput that he would be colouring hair. And when Mira Rajput got to know about the character that Shahid Kapoor was playing in Udta Punjabwas called 'Tommy', she paused for a moment and confronted him saying 'Tommy was not the name of a guy, it was the name of a dog!
In the same interview, Shahid Kapoor was also sweet enough to confess that, although Mira Rajput does not call him as 'Tommy', but, has saved his name on her cell phone as 'Tommy'. Which only means that, every time Shahid Kapoor calls his wife Mira Rajput, his name flashes as "Tommy calling"!
