There is hardly anyone who doesn’t get influenced by Ranveer Singh and his infectious energy. Added to that, his impeccable performances in his films, which only explains the reason for the ever-increasing list of fans and followers every passing day. With his achievements soaring sky high, needless to say that, awards and rewards are a natural by-product of the hard work that he puts in.
After having been conferred with the prestigious ‘Maharashtrian Of The Year’ title at the hands of Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, this time round, Ranveer Singh will be conferred with the prestigious ‘Pandit Dinanath Mangeshkar Award’, which will be received by Sanjay Leela Bhansali (on his behalf) as he is abroad shooting for his film Befikre.
India’s Nightingale Lata Mangeshkar, who has always presented the said award to all the previous winners (Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit, Rishi Kapoor and tabla maestro Zakir Hussain), will be presenting this award to Ranveer Singh via Skype. Speaking about Ranveer Singh, Lata Mangeshkar said that he was one of the youngest recipients of the prestigious award named after her father. Besides calling him as a super positive human being, she added that he was a great actor who spreads happiness everywhere.
