The movie is set in the early 1900s and revolves around the tribe who call themselves the 'Pindaris'.
Veer (played by Salman) is a strong character in the script and is justified by an outstanding performance by Salman Khan. The action sequences and the sets add to the grandeur of the film and make it comparable to Hollywood standards. Overall a well executed movie packed with action and appropriately interspersed with romance and patriotic scenes.
