It was a decent movie, not amazing but not horrible either. There are too many stories...Nikhil should have done 3-4 cause clearly he cant handle so many. Not all of them are given justice. But it's entertaining. Performance wise the best of the lot are Vidya, Govinda, John, Akshaye, Juhi. Sohail is good too in his four scenes. THe rest are passable...but Priyanka and Salman were terrible. Their story was BORING too. Movie is wayyyyyyyyyyy too long.

6 heroes ...6 heroines..3 music directors..1 kool director...a movie with all most everything to make a movie superb....but the main thing which is missing is the story...starting with John-Vidya followed by Anil-Juhi-Anjali , Akshaye -Ayesha , Govinda-Shannon,sohail-ishaa..& in the end Priyanka - salman...the 1st half starts of well with great doze of comedy & 4 songs flowing 1 after another...but the 2nd half eventually slows down...making the audience look here & there...sohail khan stands out among the whole list of superstars acting as the horny& dumb bridegroom....John proves that he can act with an emotional role..Anil is normal & looks good after shaving his trademark moustache..Akshaye is superb but his role reminds u of the one in Shaadi se pehle & Aap ki Khatir..Govinda should have made this his comeback movie..he surely has more role in this than he has in Bhagam Bhag.. salman is the one among the guyies to be wasted....he hardly is there..& even his role is half baked making things unbelievable...the girls dont have much to do but still all of them carry of well..Ayesha,Vidya,Ishaa,Juhi,Shanon & Priyanka being the best in the lot.. John-Vidya & Govinda-Shannon are the best ones among the whole buntch...shankar-ehsaan-loy have done a great jobs & the g8 chorogreophy also helps making the songs better..Mera dil is the only track missing in the movie..after making a superb Kal Ho Naa Ho..nikhil tries his best..but is not upto the mark..maybe he should have tried such a huge movie a bit later in his career..on the whole its 6 ordinary hindi movies packed into one...but still a good time pass & surely worth a watch..

The movie serves as a perfect example of a BIG FAT BORING AND LIFELESS BOLLYWOOD MOVIE. It was a total patchwork by the director. This was not at all expected from a maker like Nikhil Advani. The only interesting portion in the movie was the story of Govinda and some emotional scenes. Moreover, the story of Sohail Khan was totally unwarranted. The music of the movie is good but only one song goes with the story line is the last sad song called 'Ya Rabba'.  

Anyway, no doudbt one of the most waited films of the year is finally on silver screen. I wont say…

This movie is entertaining...made me laugh out loud! Made me shade tears and time well spend! Even my english partner also liked the movie!!! Go for it guys!

Hi everyone, i have seen the angreezi version of this movie , so i was very curious bout dis one 2.... and i must tell u ..... that it was a fantastic one!!!!!! SALMAN KHAN as usual was rockin!!!! GOVINDA made a fantastic come back!!!!AKSHAYE KHANNA was terrific as a confused lover !!!! ANIL KAPOOR handled his character with utmost sincerity!!!! JOHN ABRAHAM pleyed an excellent part !!!!Sohail Khan also did a good job... In female section, except for isha kopikkar every one did a fantastic job..... music s superb, cinematography is breath- taking.... the only negative part s the length of the film .it should be trimmed by 20-30 mins... NIKHIL ADVANI proved once again that he is here to stay....

I wish Nikhil Advani had taken only three stories - may be John-Vidya, Akshaye-Ayesha and Govinda-firang... I don't know what the hell were Sohail-Isha doing in the film! It was completely not required and streched the story unecessarily.. The songs disappoint except the two title tracks. Salman and Priyanka REALLY need help with their wardrobes! YUCKY clothes.. Yellow zari dress for Priyanka and orange sherwani for Salman!! Is nobody watching??!! And please, after 18 years in the industry, I think it is high time Salman at least tries to act. We dont spend our hard earned money just to see him practice his walk on screen.. Granted he is good looking, but then that does not justify the ticket price. Puhleez Salman!! Stop simply strutting before the camera and learn at least 5 expressions!! Priyank is annoying, only flipping her hair thruout the film. John is a pleasant surprise. Govinda is back, finally! And I am so glad to see him on the big screen! He melts your heart with his innocence..

My Review of Salam-e-ishq TEAMWORK Yes, you read it correct. This movie is really a good example of Teamwork, where every actor needs a hit disparately including Govinda, Anil Kapoor for his comeback, Akshay Khanna & John to sustain themselves in Bollywood. So, everyone has contributed for it nicely, some part you will like, some part you wont. The movie talks only about love from the first scene to end. One, who doesn’t believe in love, might change the opinion after watching this movie. Basically it is a story of 6 different couples & their way of expressing love. Instead of making 6 different movies, director has combined all of them in one, which is something different. Out of these 6 couples, 4 couples are connected somewhere with each other but 2 couples John-Vidya & Sohail- Isha are totally different. Similarly, out of 6 stories (couples), 3 stories we have seen earlier in movies like 1) Govinda’s story =’Pyaar to hona hi thaa’ 2) Akshay-Aayesha =’Shaadi se Pehle’ 3) Anil-Juhi = ‘KANK’ & many others. Story wise, John-Vidya’s story is a nice & that couple has enjoyed the movie very much. Acting wise, Vidya Balan has again shown her talent. John also supported her very nicely. I think, Govinda will get more movies after this one, as he has played his part very nicely. The story of Salman-Priyanka is nice to see due to songs, but please don’t apply any LOGIC to that. The actors who are wasted in this movie are: - 1) Anil Kapoor & Juhi Chawala=“ No proper reason for their fight” 2) Akshay Khanna=should have been replaced by Saif Ali Khan. 3) Aayesha Takiya= No scope for acting. But the real hero of this movie who saves this ‘TITANIC’ constantly is Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy who has given very nice music. All songs are worth listening & watching, which will save the movie, I am sure. Almost every song has Salman, which will surely attract huge crowd. Song wise, title song is best to hear & see, which has all 6 couples dancing on the same song at different locations. So, all n all a good time pass movie to watch with your girlfriend or boyfriend (If you have). My Rating will go up to ***1/2. *** For 3 new stories & ½ for the director to handle such a huge star cast & switching between their stories so nicely.
