So it is a King Khan production with good friend FK. Movies are meant to be entertainers. Does OSO offer what the promos promised? Does it live up the expectations of the audience? Let us analyze
The first thing about OSO is that it is a very colourful and young product. In fact i would say that OSO had something new to offer to the people in terms of style of movie making and the concepts used. It is a good to see that SRK and FK experiment with things in the business. This gives the movie the extra edge i.e. the story of the movie is very simple and of course you can draw comparisons from movies like Karz, Karan Arjun etc, but what make OSO unique - the way it is presented + SRK power + Deepika Padukone who is stunningly innocent + the plethora of stars in the Deewangi song which let out a lot of whistles in the theatre + wonderful music.
Looking at the performances - Deepika Padukone will steal all the young hearts while the old hearts will turn young again. Her performance was like Monalisa(the painting) - mesmerizing. Even though time was pass by it will be one performance which will be remembered.
SRK - Anything said for or against his performance does not matter because it is SRK & SRK knows he is the best. And that is why even if you try to pull him down saying, 'Oh, he acts the same in all films' then i would say one thing - it is very difficult to be perfect again and again but still SRK does it time and again :).
The supporting cast was again superb in all respects.
