Chennai Express - *** -- “Fun is ON while on the Run!!â€
There’s Nothing Outstanding about this one, but One thing is Sure, Sharukh Khan Charms his way throughout. He is in his elements and for a change neither hams nor stammers!
It is a Joyride and if one doesn’t hate SRK, one will have a nice time at the theatre. Rohit Shetty nicely laces an entertaining combination of humor, romance and action. SRK does a spoof of most of his hits and few of them leave you in splits. Have to give it to him for he dances, romances, fights with equal ado and gusto. The Charm which was missing in his last couple of releases is back!
The Movie has a breezy first half and then goes into a sleep mode before it just takes off to a high in the last half hour. The Climax needs a special mention.
Deepika Padukone shines as the Tamil accent girl and Nikitin Dheer makes an impression and makes his case to be made note of.
Well this Chennai Express Chugs its way into success, box-office and into the hearts of his fans!
And not to forget “All the Rajni fans, Don’t miss the chance†Rajni Rocks despite his absence! Jai Thalaivar!
