Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi shut down rumours of selling wedding film rights

South Indian actors Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi have recently denied reports that they have sold the rights to their wedding film to a streaming platform. The couple tied the knot in a grand ceremony in Italy's Tuscany on November 1, 2023.

Rumours began to circulate that the couple had sold the rights to their wedding film to Netflix for a whopping Rs 8 crore. However, Varun's team has issued a statement refuting these claims, stating that the speculations are "completely baseless and untrue." The statement further requested everyone to refrain from believing or spreading such rumours.

Speaking of their marriage, Varun Tej and Lavanya Tripathi tied the knot on November 1 in Tuscany, Italy. The couple had a grand wedding reception in Hyderabad on November 5, which was held at N Convention Center.

For the unversed, Varun Tej is the nephew of veteran actors Chiranjeevi and Pawan Kalyan. Actors Ram Charan, Allu Arjun, Allu Sirish, Sai Tej and Panja Vaisshnav Tej, who are his cousins, joined Varun and Lavanya at the wedding in Tuscany. Chiranjeevi also shared a picture on X (formerly known as Twitter) from the wedding as he congratulated the newlyweds.
