Trailer: Nikhil Siddhartha starrer SPY is an action entertainer featuring a Subhash Chandra Bose twist!

While the teaser of the national thriller SPY created quite a stir among fans, the makers have added to the anticipation by unveiling the trailer of the film. Spy features Nikhil Siddhartha of Kartikeya 2 fame in the lead role and it is directed by Garry BH. The film features a unique connection to Subhash Chandra Bose and it’s theatrical trailer was launched a while ago in a grand manner at an event in AAA Cinemas.

The trailer opens with a statement saying ‘history never tells us the truth, it will be hidden, and we need to search for the answer’. The film revolves around a spy’s journey to track down the most wanted terrorist. After a red alert is sent to all the agents in the country, they set out on a search to find the man who is not only dangerous but also possesses one of the most treasured things, Netaji Files. While no one is aware of the content in those files, the agents have to track down those that have the potential to harm the innocent.

 

A source close to the film opened up about the espionage action thriller saying, “Nikhil Siddhartha is always good at portraying these kinds of challenging roles and his screen presence is just amazing. We wanted Rana to say the Subhash Chandra Bose slogan about Independence to give a perfect end to the trailer. Garry made sure there is inquisitiveness all through with his gripping narrative. His take is extraordinary. Technical standards and production values are quite grand in the film.”

 

SPY also stars Iswarya Menon as the leading lady, along with Aryan Rajesh, and Sanya Thakur in important roles. The cast also includes Abhinav Gomatam, Makrand Deshpande, Jisshu Sengupta, Nitin Mehta, Ravi Varma, Krishna Teja, Prisha Singh, Sonia Naresh among others.

 

 

K Rajashekhar Reddy is producing the movie on Ed Entrainments along with Charantej Uppalapati as CEO. Producer K Rajashekhar Reddy has also written the story for this venture. Sricharan Pakala and Vishal Chandrasekhar have scored the music and handled the cinematography respectively, while Garry BH will also be editing the movie. SPY will be releasing in all South Indian languages as well as in Hindi on June 29.
