Thug Life wraps up its shoot! Kamal Haasan shares details on social media

The much-awaited Thug Life, marking the reunion of Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam after over three decades, is one of the most awaited releases in recent times, considering the big names from Indian film industry being associated with it. Apart from the Nayakan duo, the film will also feature Vinnaithaandi Varuvaaya pair Silambarasan and Trisha Krishnan. The mass action entertainer was announced last year and now reports suggest that the makers have wrapped up the shoot of the drama.

Kamal Haasan, who is also co-producing the film under his banner Raaj Kamal International Films, took to the social media platform to share a video announcing the shoot wrap up. The video features of the locations being used in the film along with a beautiful moment capturing the bond between Mani Ratnam and the Tamil superstar, where the former presented a bouquet of flowers to the actor. “Shooting Completed #Thuglife enters the next phase,” the post read along with the entire team being tagged in it.

 

Followed by this post, many fans too dropped emojis and comments on the platform, expressing their excitement. “My thalaivan STR entry”, “Aandavar, first time under the Madras Talkies Banner!”, “Peak cinema incoming”, “Vaa thalaiva.. Speaking of Thug Life, the film will have an ensemble supporting cast like Joju George, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Abhirami, among others along with Kamal Haasan, Silambarasan, and Trisha Krishnan. It is also said that the movie will also feature some Bollywood celebrities too. Meanwhile, coming to its crew, the music is composed by A. R. Rahman, the action is choreographed by Anbariv, the cinematography is handled by Ravi K. Chandran, and the editing is done by Sreekar Prasad.
