The Paradise makers introduce Kayadu Lohar as Subbalakshmi in Nani starrer; unveil poster on her birthday
The makers of The Paradise have unveiled the much-awaited first look of Kayadu Lohar, introducing her character Subbalakshmi, fondly known as Subbu. The special reveal coincides with the actress’ birthday, making it a double celebration for fans eagerly following the film’s updates.
Headlined by Nani and directed by Srikanth Odela, The Paradise has already been generating significant anticipation, especially after the success of its chart-topping track ‘Aaya Sher’. Composed by Anirudh Ravichander, the song serves as a powerful introduction to Nani’s character and has further heightened excitement around the film.
The newly released poster offers a glimpse into Kayadu Lohar’s role, presenting her in a refreshingly grounded and realistic avatar. Seen riding a bicycle, her look is a stark departure from conventional glamorous portrayals, hinting at a character deeply rooted in the film’s narrative world. While the makers have chosen to keep further details under wraps, the first look has already sparked curiosity about Subbu’s role and significance in the story.
Sharing the poster on social media, the team captioned it, “The star that never shined... Meet Subbu... Subbalakshmi from the world of #TheParadise ✨ Wishing the incredible @kayadu_lohar_official a very Happy Birthday…. GRAND RELEASE WORLDWIDE ON AUGUST 21st, 2026.”
The Paradise marks another ambitious venture for director Srikanth Odela, who received widespread acclaim for his debut film Dasara. With expectations running high, the film promises a compelling blend of strong storytelling and large-scale cinematic appeal.
Backing the narrative is an impactful soundtrack by Anirudh Ravichander, with vocals by Arjun Chandy adding emotional depth and intensity. Produced by SLV Cinemas, the film is set for a grand theatrical release on August 21, 2026, across eight languages, including Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, English, Spanish, Bengali, Kannada, and Malayalam.
With its intriguing character reveals and mounting buzz, The Paradise is steadily shaping up to be one of the most talked-about releases on the horizon.
