Director Srikanth Odela aimed to create a unique visual by constructing large slum sets with a central arch, giving the space the feel of a grand empire, reminiscent of Mahishmati from Baahubali. The film’s shooting has now officially begun.

Natural Star Nani’s The Paradise has been gaining attention since its first look was released. Directed by Srikanth Odela, following his success with Dasara, the film is among the most anticipated projects in India. This marks another collaboration between Nani and Odela. The team has built a large slum set for the film, and the director has now officially announced the start of shooting.

 

Excitingly, the shoot for Srikanth Odela’s The Paradise has begun, and the director announced it with a post that connected his previous blockbuster Dasara with The Paradise, the next in line. He took to social media to share a picture of his hand wearing wristbands of both Dasara and The Paradise. Along with the picture, he wrote, “#Schedulebegins#

 

The Art Department, along with the Direction, Action, and Song Choreography teams, worked extensively to design a distinctive set for The Paradise. The goal was to depict the slums as a vast empire, which was challenging since real slums develop organically in tight spaces. The set was created by combining several compact areas into a large, cohesive setup, featuring key locations for the story, including a central arch symbolizing the palace. The process involved research, mock-ups, model construction, and the final build. Two more large sets are currently under construction.

 

The production designer of The Paradise, Avinash Kolla, said, “The Paradise is a film that required a very distinct approach when it came to building sets. With the kind of backdrop the film explores as per the storyline, we needed to construct an enormous slum that would not only showcase the massive scale of the empire but also serve as a pivotal location in the narrative. It was indeed a challenge, we researched extensively and brainstormed a lot to execute it.”

 

The Paradise is shaping up to be another visually striking film from Srikanth Odela, known for his attention to detail. He made his directorial debut with Dasara, which received critical acclaim and became a box office success, crossing Rs.100 crore and becoming Nani’s highest-grossing film. With only a few films in his career, Odela has already gained attention, and The Paradise is expected to further highlight his filmmaking vision.Adding to the excitement, the original soundtrack by Anirudh Ravichander, with vocals by Anirudh and Arjun Chandy, delivers a gripping and immersive experience, setting the perfect tone and enhancing the film’s overall cinematic impact.

 

The Paradise is produced by SLV Cinemas, led by Sudhakar Cherukuri, who previously produced the successful film Dasara. With this project, the studio aims to present another large-scale cinematic venture.

 

Backed by SLV Cinemas, The Paradise, with music by Anirudh Ravichander, is scheduled for release on March 26, 2026. The film will be launched in eight languages: Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, English, Spanish, Bengali, Kannada, and Malayalam. With its talented team and wide release, the film promises a remarkable cinematic experience.
