Mahesh Babu and Namrata Shirodkar, who are known to be one of the most respected and loved couples in the Telugu film industry, shocked their fans by issuing a statement regarding the digital impersonation of their daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni. It seems that an imposter is on the loose and has been trying to rob people in the name of the teenage girl by sending fraudulent trade and investment links to others. The couple, in association with their production house GMB entertainment have issued a statement warning people to stay away from such fraudsters.

Namrata Shirodkar along with the official social media account of GMB Entertainment shared a statement on Friday, February 9 where they also asserted about police investigating the matter. In the post, the former beauty queen and actress Namrata also asserted that there is one official account of her daughter Sitara Ghattamaneni and shared a photo of the statement which read, “The Madhapur police, in coordination with Team GMB, have issued a warning about a cybercrime incident involving the impersonation of Ms. Sitara Ghattamaneni on Instagram. An unidentified user has been fraudulently posing as Ms. Ghattamaneni, sending trading and investment links to unsuspecting users. Authorities are urging the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity. Efforts are underway to trace and apprehend the individual responsible for these activities to prevent future occurrences. The public is advised to verify the authenticity of celebrity accounts before engaging with any financial advice online.”

 

 

For the unversed, Sitara Ghattamaneni enjoys a massive fan following on social media and the teenage girl is also quite active on the platform wherein she posts dance videos as well as glimpses of her life. Besides that, Sitara has also been taking up some modelling and other miniscule projects along with pursuing her studies.
