Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam movie titled Thug Life; first glimpse gives wuxia meets mass cinema vibes, watch

Filmmaker Mani Ratnam and superstar Kamal Haasan have reunited after 33 years. The title of the project, tentatively titled KH 234, has been unveiled today on November 6 ahead of the superstar's birthday. After sharing the intriguing poster, the title is now revealed to be Thug Life. Along with the new glimpse, it was revealed that actors Dulquer Salmaan and Trisha Krishnan are also on board to star in the movie.

Touted to be a typical gangster drama, the title teaser brings wuxia to mass cinema genre. Kamal Haasan is performing martial arts in the teaser and gives a perfect kickstart to Mani Ratnam's cinematic vision.

 

 

 

Music composer AR Rahman is scoring the soundtrack, cinematographer Ravi K Chandran, editor Sreekar Prasad and stunt choreographer duo Anbariv are on the technical crew.

 

The film is jointly produced by Raajkamal Films International, Madras Talkies, Red Giant Movies, R Mahendran and Siva Ananth.
