Kamal Haasan fully recovered from COVID-19; can resume work from December 4

On November 22, superstar Kamal Haasan shared that he has been tested positive for COVID-19 and is in isolation at a hospital in Chennai. The actor-politician had tested positive for the virus on his return from the United States of America.

 

Kamal Haasan fully recovered from COVID-19; can resume work from December 4

 

Kamal Haasan was admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre. The hospital has said in a statement that the actor-politician is fully recovered and can resume work from December 4.

 

“Mr. Kamal Haasan who has been admitted to Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre on 22nd November 2021 was COVID positive. He has mild covid for which he was treated. He has fully recovered but advised to be on isolation until 3rd December 2021. He will be fit to resume his routine work from 4th December 2021,” the statement from the hospital read.

 

On the work front, Kamal has been shooting for the film Vikram which marks his 232nd film. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, the film also stars Fahadh Faasil and Vijay Sethupathi. Two weeks back, on Haasan's birthday, the makers had shared a teaser video of the film featuring the actor in his action avatar. Vikram is being produced by Kamal Haasan’s Raajkamal Films International. The music of the film has been composed by Anirudh Ravichander.
