Harman Baweja’s Baweja Studios makes Tamil debut with Perusu; teams up with Karthik Subbaraj and Kaarthekeyen S' Stone Bench Films

Harman Baweja led Baweja Studios is set to make its Tamil cinema debut in collaboration with Stonebench Films, which is founded by popular filmmaker Karthik Subbaraj along with Kaarthekeyen S. The one-of-a-kind partnership between Baweja Studios, Stone Bench Films, Emberlight Studios, and Sasi Naga will bring to life the much-anticipated Perusu, directed by acclaimed Sinhalese director Ilango Ram, which promises to be a laughter riot, starring Vaibhav Reddy, Niharika NM, Sunil, Chandini, Redin Kingsley, Karunakaran in key roles.

Slated to release on March 14, this collaboration comes hot on the heels of Baweja Studios' recent success with Sanya Malhotra starrer Mrs. Meanwhile, Stone Bench Films, known for films such as Jigarthanda Double X, Mercury, Rathnam and upcoming Suriya Starrer Retro  amongst a host of other films has been a driving force in Tamil cinema. The studio aims to continue with its provoking storytelling and unconventional narratives with the new association too.
